In Manchester, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Michigan, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. I have purchased twice from new leaf nativesβ Both times Iβve been deeply satisfied with the service and the care going into their plants and between this year and last year I have noticed an almost exponential improvement across all measures of quality. LOVE the new pickup zone and am deeply thankful for this business.

I am the woman who locked my keys inside my car when I stopped to pickup my plants yesterday. Your employees ALL were so kind and went above and beyond to help me! ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!!!! Any your plants are also wonderful and reasonably priced, and I am already making a list to order next spring!! Thank you!!

Ordering and pick up could not be easier. My plants were sorted and set out, I pre-paid so I saw no one - just a quick drive up and easily found my tray of plants. The drive from metro Detroit took about an hour and was lovely. Perfect adventure for a HOT day. Plants are healthy and as soon as these desert temps pass - I will plant them. Thanks - Iβll be back!!

We live on a wooded lot. Over the years poison ivy and english ivy have encroached from the wooded commons in our neighborhood onto our wooded lot and completely taken over. This year we had the ivy removed and the property restored courtest of New Leaf Natives. We requested native Michigan plant species appropriate to a Michigan woodland and appropriate to our site. Our goals were to use diverse Michigan natives, build a healthy sustainable, wooded ecosystem, and manage the invasives. New Leaf Natives, and their partner landscaping company, Creating Sustainable Landscapes, did all that. We are so pleased. Thank you, thank you!

I'm growing my own little piece of prairie thanks to New Leaf! All of their staff were helpful as I covered 1/4 of my yard with compost and planted native grasses and flowers from their farm. They provided good directions for how to handle planting and they helped me to design the gardens as well (which, with native plants, is not rocket science, but I'm new to this and needed the help!). I planted a month ago and already the grasses are shooting up and flowers are blooming.
